EV Lineup: Every Electric Car and Its Battery
Every electric car on sale in North America, brand by brand — each model's battery capacity, chemistry and range, in the manufacturers' and EPA's published figures.
This lineup covers 29 brands and 85 models — every battery-electric car on sale new in North America in October 2026 — and the traction battery fitted to each model's base configuration: its capacity in kilowatt-hours (usable or total, as the maker labels it), its chemistry where the maker states it, and its range rating.
Use it to compare packs like with like before you buy, and to pin down what is actually under the floor of a car you already own. Models in their final year, or being sold from remaining stock, are kept in the lineup and badged — their owners still need battery information.
Specs as published by the manufacturers / EPA, October 2026; ranges are EPA ratings unless labeled otherwise. Where a maker does not publish a figure, the card says so rather than guessing.

When an EV traction pack reaches the end of its life there is no municipal drop-off for it — no city program in our 26-city recycling directory accepts EV packs. The route is the dealer or manufacturer: The Battery Network's EV services support manufacturers, dealer networks and certified handlers, and retired packs can also go on to a second life in stationary storage before final recycling. See Batteries & the Environment for the recycling routes and city directory.
On a DC fast charge, most batteries slow down above 80% — the US DOE's guidance is that 80% usually suffices and frees the stall for the next driver. Day to day, follow the daily charge limit your car recommends: near 80% for most nickel-based packs, while some LFP models are told to charge to 100%.
